3rd Degree Chat Offenses: (3 warnings for the same type of offense equates a 6 month mute, anything after that is a permamute.)
- Treat each other with respect. This means no needless insults, bullying, sexist remarks or discriminatory messages at all. Posts meant to generate an inflammatory response from another user will be considered trolling and also not allowed under this rule.
- No cursing (damn, ass, fuck, bastard, bitch) or offensive language. This is a very subjective rule. In short, if a mod asks you to avoid a certain word or phrase...do it. This applies to IGN’s & when quoting others.
- No spamming. Watch the CAPS, typing the same thing multiple times, and lots of pointless chat.
1st Degree Chat Offenses: (1 strike for any of these offenses equates a 6 month mute, anything after that is a permamute.)
- No racism.
- Keep comments age appropriate. Meaning no sexually oriented content is allowed.
- No advertising.
- This includes links to websites, Ip’s & mentioning the names of the networks/servers. Scottland Studios links are exempt from this rule. Mods are not required to click links to find out where they go, and will ban any & all players posting links in game.
- Do not impersonate any member of Scottland Studios' staff or claim to be a member of the Staff.
3rd Degree Game Offenses: (3 warnings for the same type of offense equates a 6 month ban, and anything after that is a permaban.)
- No nude, offensive or otherwise inappropriate skin.
- No combat logging. This is when someone relogs mid fight, to avoid fall damage, or to avoid explosion damage.
- Do not encourage anyone else to break any of the forum/game rules.
- Do not argue with the mods. If you feel you have been wronged or mistreated by a staff member report them in the forum or message a MGM.
1st Degree Game Offenses: (1 strike for any of these offenses equates a 6 month ban, and anything after that is a permaban.)
- No unapproved mods. All mods other than Optifine are unapproved. Changes to your Minecraft client files to replicate the actions of any of these mods is also reason for a ban.
- Don’t joke about hacking. If you say you are using hacks...we’ll take your word for it.
- Do not abuse or exploit any component of the service other than intended, for unfair game play, including kits, special abilities (such as spectating & commands), bugs or in game glitches.
Other Game Rules:
- Chat rules apply to whisphers as well.
- DDOS gets any & all your known accounts permabanned.
- Ban evasion is not permitted, and will result in a permanent ban for all alternate accounts associated with the evading player. The alternate accounts will not be unbanned once the original ban expired, and the original ban starts over from the point the alts were discovered. So if you had 3 months left on a 1 year ban...you start that year ban all over again. If you get your Minecraft account banned...it means we don’t want you here for awhile...with any account.
- Testimony IS evidence. Your words in game can be used against you & depending on the rule violation are enough evidence for a mute/ban.
- Any breach made by a family member, friend, or random stranger is on you. If a rule is broken under an account, that account will be punished.
- GM’s are allowed to temp mute players & kick them when they give their warnings.
- Bans & mutes are global. Meaning if you get banned for something you did while playing Batknight, it means you are banned from all Scottland Studios games & servers.
- All bans must be appealed before they can be overturned. So a 6 month ban could end up being longer. It just depends on if you appeal right after the 6 month time period is up or not.
- Scottland Studios' Administration reserves the right to ban any player from any Scottland Studio service for any reason without notice. Even for actions on other servers.

The Rush
Welcome Tributes. The task before you is great, and many of you will die. But your death will hopefully inspire even more deaths for MCTheWalls in the future. Please read the following carefully if you’re going to be a part of the new Walls Music Video.
Click to watch a live stream:
http://www.twitch.tv/nyancat900
Click to watch a live stream:
http://www.twitch.tv/nyancat900
Having trouble getting on the server?
Because we had so many volunteers we are going to have to let some of you help with a couple scenes, and then let the rest of you do a couple after that. So if you didn’t get whitelisted at the start, just hang out & watch the stream for a bit. After we get a couple takes boophis will close the server, and make a NEW whitelist to get the rest of you involved. It will take boophis 10-20 minutes to restart then make a new list when it gets to that point.
If myself or one of my Team Leaders notices that you are really laggy, we might unwhitelist you. If your connection is going to make you jump around even more than MCTheWalls already makes most players unfortunately it won’t be beneficial to the video. Sorry. I’m going to have one of my friends on Skype on each of the teams. They can help with communication & assist with any prep work that might need done. Please listen when they tell you something. They will only be trying to help you.
How this will work.
During the filming process I’m going to be in a Skype call with some good friends. I can’t have EVERYONE in the video in the call at the same time because that would be chaos. So, to aid in communicating with everyone I asked nyancat900 to stream the recording process. He will be in the Skype call, so everyone will be able to hear me give directions. Unfortunately there will be a delay, so I’ll also have to use the in game chat to let people know when to start & stop for each scene.
The process will probably be like this. I set up the scene, hand people the supplies they need, then I’ll explain what I want them to do in the stream. After I know you’ve caught up with the daley I’ll probably say “Action” or something in the chat. And from there you carry out your role until I use the chat to say “Cut”. There will be A LOT of waiting around. It can get a little dull, but try to stay focused & not go afk.
I mentioned that I’ll hand out supplies (and boophis)...so there is no need for anyone to mine or build. After you spawn in your biome, you should just meet at the middle corner & wait. If you go around mining & goofing off you risk getting killed before we even start filming. This would waste a lot of time because there is no respawn, I have to have boophis restart the server every time we screw up or need another take. I’m very grateful for the help that you guys & the administrators are giving me to film this...so I really don’t want to waste peoples time if I can help it. People can & will be removed from the whitelist if they are a problem.
Roles For Rush:
Team 1:
Player 1: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(iron chest plate, leather pants, leather hat, stone sword)
Player 2: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(iron pants, leather boots, gold sword)
Player 3: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(FULL iron armor, iron sword, 4 wolf eggs, stack of bones) (don't mate the wolves...4 is all you get)
Player 4: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(knockback stick)
This team is made up of noobs if you couldn’t tell...but they will go down fighting.
Team 2:
Player 1: You are to enderpearl on top of the diamonds & start mining them all.
(FULL iron armor, iron sword, iron pick, enderpearls)
Player 2: You are to rush the middle and attempt to mine the diamonds from the bottom. Don’t go after anyone, go right for the diamonds & only fight back if you are attacked. Run from the middle IF and after you get the diamonds.
(FULL iron armor, iron sword, iron pick)
Player 3: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(FULL iron armor, iron sword, bow, 8 arrows)
Player 4: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(FULL iron armor, iron sword, bow, 8 arrows)
Player 5: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(FULL iron armor, iron sword, bow, 8 arrows)
Player 6: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(FULL iron armor, iron sword, bow, 8 arrows)
Player 7: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(gold boots, lava bucket)
Team 3:
Player 1: You are going to sit in a tiny skybase at the corner, and attempt to snipe anyone you see rushing with your flame bow.
(iron chest plate, iron pants, flame bow, regular bow, 16 arrows)
Player 2: You are going to sit in a tiny skybase at the corner, and attempt to snipe anyone you see rushing with your Power 2 bow)
(iron chest plate, iron pants, iron boots, power bow, regular bow, 16 arrows)
Player 3: You are going to start in the tiny skybase, but immediately start bridging over to the diamonds to mine them. If you fall off & don’t die...try to mine them from the ground.
(FULL iron armor, iron sword, iron pick)
Player 4: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(FULL iron armor, iron sword, bow, 8 arrows)
Player 5: You are to rush the middle and attempt to kill anyone you see.
(FULL gold armor, iron sword)
Team 4:
Player 1: You are not interested in diamonds...you want blood. Kill everyone.
(FULL enchanted iron armor, enchanted iron sword, bow)
Player 2: You are not interested in diamonds...you want blood. Kill everyone.
(FULL enchanted iron armor, enchanted iron sword, bow)
Player 3: You are not interested in diamonds...you want blood. Kill everyone.
(FULL enchanted iron armor, enchanted iron sword, bow)
Player 4: You are not interested in diamonds...you want blood. Kill everyone.
(FULL enchanted iron armor, enchanted iron sword, bow)
Player 5: You are going to make a beeline for the trap to set it off. You goal is to make a big boom, and then run from the chaos.
(FULL enchanted iron armor, iron pick,)
- DO NOT KILL LMAC77 normally I want you to, but in this scene he has a job to do & I need him to live long enough to complete his task.
- In most cases, when you are about to die you attempt to run & get away. You can do that in this scene, but I want you to try to stay close to the middle while you’re on the run. Here’s the general area I’d like you to be in:
- Please do not destroy stuff in your biome (aside from animals). Sure in EVERY game of Walls you have floating trees, random holes & stuff like that...but for the music videos sake I’d like the biomes to look nice

Where Does Spintown Play
I don’t really use this blog anymore, but I thought it would be a good place to list all the servers I play on. I’ve been asked on YouTube, “What’s the server IP?” “Can I play with you sometime?” or “What’s your favorite server?” So this should answer those questions, and it can also serve as a link for me to give friends who might be curious about new servers.
Server: Scottland
IP: Private & whitelisted
Website: http://www.youtube.com/ZackScottGames
Scottland is run by Zack Scott & is the first server of any kind I ever played on. Currently it’s a creative server, and it’s where I do 99% of my building. I still play in survival for some projects, but even I have went creative for most things now. I’m one of 7 moderators for the server. In the future there could be some mini games hosted by Zack & maybe even some maps designed by me.
Server: Minecade
IP: MINECA.DE
Website: http://minecade.com/
Twitter: @Minecade
My favorite mini game by far is Walls, and whenever I play it, I play at Minecade. The servers can be laggy, and they might have dumbed down the game since it’s beginning...but it’s still the best site to play Walls on. I even became a Game Moderator for MCTheWalls.com. The other games available over at Minecade suck almost as much as the owners do. The biggest problem over at Minecade is the fact that the owners are very hands off & don’t seem to care much about fixing bugs related to the website or game. Since I started playing here I’ve got VIP, PRO, GM & MVP rank in game. In the forum I also acquired VET rank. VIP gives you the ability to spectate games & teleport during peacetime. PRO lets you use various kits in the game. GM just means I can kick or ban you if you break the rules of the game or forum. MVP means I won the Walls tournament (I’ve lost that tag since winning it). VET means that I have been a GM for over a year.
If you’re not familiar with Walls, here’s how it works. 40 people are split up on to 4 teams, and each team is given 25% of a giant cubed map. For the first 15 minutes of the game there’s a giant wall separating the teams. So during this time you have to prepare for battle. Because when the walls come down...the last team standing is the winner. You have to make your weapons, armor & base.
Server: Overcast Network
IP: us.oc.tc
Website: https://oc.tc/
Twitter: @OvercastNetwork
Aside from Walls, playing the Project Ares games is probably my favorite place to go for PvP. There are 5 different types of Project Ares games. I stick to mainly Team Death Matches like Viridun, Wooly Woods, BlockBlock, Wildwood Crevice, Sand Wars, Battle of Lyndanisse, Scrap Mettle, The Arena, Modern Cityscape, Venice TDM & Ozone. Team Death Matches are maps that break everyone up into 2 teams...the team that kills the most players on the other team within the given time limit wins. They’re simple & fun if you just want to do some mindless killing.
If I play a Monument level it’s usually Corrupted Kingdoms, The Nile, Soviet Mills or Balloon Archipelago. Monument levels are maps that break players up into 2 teams, and you have to sneak onto the other teams side of the map & break some sort of monument. The monuments are usually obsidian, but can be other substances.
If I play a Core level it’s usually Blocks DTC or Total War. These levels are very similar to Monument levels, the only real difference is that the Cores are obsidian spheres full of lava. The goal is to leak the lava from the other teams Core.
I don’t really play the Capture The Flag maps or the King Of The Hill maps, but if you like those types of games they have them. The only other game that’s any good on these servers are the Blitz games. They are bascially 1 hit kill or 1 life per player Team Death Matches. There are various perks available from the website shop, and I bought Dux so I could pick my team & join full teams & servers. The stats pages are very well done (unlike Minecade) and the servers & maps are also very well maintained (again unlike Minecade).
Server: Mineplex
IP: us.mineplex.com
Website: http://www.mineplex.com/
Twitter: @MineplexMC
This site was started by a former MCTheWalls GM. It’s maintained very well & has a variety of games. My favorite thing to do here is the Mixed Arcade. It’s a server that has you play 1 type of short mini game, then rotates to a new one, and then another, and another, etc… So every couple minutes you’re playing a new game & most of them are pretty cool. If you find a game you really like, you can probably just play it over & over again on it’s own server. My favorites include: One In The Quiver, Turf Wars, Super Paintball, Runner & Super Spleef. (I’m a beast a Squid Shooter, but it’s not a favorite of mine.)
Another very cool game at MinePlex is Bridges. It’s a lot like Walls, but you have 4 islands that are connected by a volcano after 10 minutes or so of peacetime. I don’t really care for the maps & the mining experience they have, but the volcano is awesome.
MineCart isn’t all the fun for me, but it’s a combination of Mario Kart & Minecraft...so it’s kinda cool…just because both those games are awesome.
They have Survival Games (aka Hunger Games) as well so if you’re still into the most classic of mini games...it’s there if you want it. I bought the rank of Ultra, so I get some in game perks in all the games mentioned.
Server: Hypixel Network
IP: mc.hypixel.net
Website: http://hypixel.net/
Twitter: @HypixelNetwork
I first started playing here when they came out with their TNT Games. TNT Run & Bow Spleef are a blast & good if you only have time for a quick game or 2. Other than the TNT games there are Adventure Maps, Survival Games (Hunger Games), Quakecraft & Paintball. Walls sucks over at Hypixel, and I’m not that familiar with any other games I didn’t mention.
Server: Mcbrawl
IP: mcbrawl.com
Website: http://mcbrawl.com/forums/pages/home/
Twitter: @McBrawl
The only thing I’ve played & like about this server is the Party servers. It’s a collection of mini games much like the MinePlex Mixed Arcade games. The only difference...these might be better. Some of them are really mind blowing as far as the coding that had to be done. These servers need more players, because they’re awesome.
Website: http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/
Twitter: @mcsgservers
If you like Survival Games (Hunger Games)...this is the server for you. It’s the first server I played Hunger Games on, and it’s still the best. The only other thing I’ve played & like over there is the Kit PVP. Kit PVP basically lets you PVP against a bunch of people with the same gear as you. No real advantages given...just best fighter wins.
Server: The Hive
IP: play.hivemc.com
Website: http://hivemc.com/
Twitter: @theHiveMC
Trouble In Mineville is the only game I really play here, but they have a decide Survival Games option as well.
Server: Scottland
IP: Private & whitelisted

The only thing I’ve played & like about this server is the Party servers. It’s a collection of mini games much like the MinePlex Mixed Arcade games. The only difference...these might be better. Some of them are really mind blowing as far as the coding that had to be done. These servers need more players, because they’re awesome.
Server: Minecraft Survival Games

If you like Survival Games (Hunger Games)...this is the server for you. It’s the first server I played Hunger Games on, and it’s still the best. The only other thing I’ve played & like over there is the Kit PVP. Kit PVP basically lets you PVP against a bunch of people with the same gear as you. No real advantages given...just best fighter wins.

Trouble In Mineville is the only game I really play here, but they have a decide Survival Games option as well.

Oh...This Is Still Here?
So...um...I've been slacking with my blog updates it seems. That's probably not going to change, but I might have a use for this place. Since I last posted here I've done a lot in Minecraft. I've dug a lot, I've started making Minecraft Let's Play videos, I've made a lot of friends, I became a slave owner, and I've started holding raffles on YouTube. I'm going to post all the raffle information on this blog so people can see who has won & who has a chance at winning. I'll probably make a page for that later today.
I'm thinking about posting my new Minecraft videos on this blog as well. Maybe I'll include some extra info about the videos here or something. I'm not promising mind you...just thinking about it. The last video I was in on Zack's channel shows what I've been doing for the past 9 months or so...

Green Mario, Adventuring & New SpinStation
In my last blog I showed you pictures of my empty museum, and since then I've added a few statues. You can see a green Mario (watch the video for the explanation), and a Megaman that is 95% done. Since that video was recorded I've finished Megaman, and added 2 more statues. I won't say WHAT they are, but you'll see them in the future via ZackScottGames or on this blog. The part about the museum starts at the 7:18 mark.
I really haven't been doing too much building lately. I've been doing a lot of adventuring in unexplored lands. The main reason I started was in search of red flowers for dye making. Scottland has been picked clean in the more populated areas, and so I had to venture off the beaten path to find some. While collecting roses, I got far enough out where I started finding a lot of clay (something else there is little of in Scottland). Not long after I found a few deposits of clay, Ashley offered to buy up clay from people to build her new house (shown unfinished in the video above). So for awhile at least clay = diamonds in Scottland. This motivated me to adventure even more & even farther out, but it became a hassle to keep digging holes to stay in. So I decided to make "outposts" or "stations" I could travel to, and safely spend nights in.
These stations needed to be easy to construct, and easy to take down if someone decided to build in said area. At first I thought about making them obsidian, so I wouldn't have to repair creeper damage. But that's hard to take down, and it's a pain to mine obsidian. So then I decided on a 5x5 cobblestone room. No doors, no windows. I replaced 1 block on 3 of the walls with dirt. So if something was outside I could remove the dirt & shoot out. The doorway, which is also just filled in with dirt, is always facing a large body of water. This makes it less likely a creeper will be hanging around outside your door. The walls are only 3 blocks high, and it has a netherrack roof, which is completely on fire. To make it just a little safer I lined the walls facing land with cactus. It isn't a pretty building, and it's small, but so far I've heard dozens of spiders & creepers die & I've been completely safe. Inside I have a bed, and 3 items buried in the ground (chest, workbench & furnace).

My goal is to be able to travel 10,000 ?feet? (don't know what those numbers represent) in any direction. So far I've just traveled about 6,000 in 1 direction. I've made 8 of these stations so far, and it makes finding roses & clay really easy (not to mention other things).
Ashley has been connecting people to the rail system she installed in Super Tunnel. It's a huge project & she's put a lot of work into it. I think in total I've donated 80-90 blocks of iron & maybe 8 stacks of wood. I don't know how she gets enough iron, but she's used more of my iron now than I have. :p She recently dug out to my place (I helped, but she did the majority of it), and I am now connected to Super Tunnel.

Pixel Art & The Great Wall Of Spintown
You're probably wondering why you haven't seen any improvements to my house or new buildings in Zack's videos. Sure I changed the cobblestone house into a yellow & blue wool house, but it's really the same house. So what have I been working on? Well I mentioned a few ideas I had in previous posts, and one of those was to make statues of videogame characters. I mentioned I might build a few statues around the mountain, and you could see a couple experiments from "Berzerk" in one of Zack's videos.
What I don't think I've mentioned is that I decided to build a giant museum to display videogame pixel art in. I've been digging out a HUGE underground room, and I'm getting fairly close to finishing it. I still need to make the ceiling about 15 blocks higher before I start building the artwork though.
When I'm done there will be images built into the floor & ceiling. There will be as many statues as I can fit into the room as well. In the pictures I have below you can see I went with a glass rail to keep people from falling to their death. It doesn't look all that great, but it allows people to see almost directly below them...which is important since the object is to view the art. There will be 5 viewing areas: the main floor & 4 viewing platforms that wrap around the museum.

I also recently completed a rough draft of a wall that goes all the way around (what I consider) my property. It's a large chunk of land...very large. The wall actually goes around my entire mountain & both yards. It's currently just 4 blocks high of cobblestone & only 1 block thick. I did add torches to every block along the top, and yellow flowers in front of every block on the outside of the wall. :p
Later I plan to make the wall 3 blocks thick & hollow so people can walk through it to get to my home if they get caught outside in the dark. I also plan to make it stone, and not cobblestone. The torches will be replaced by netherrack in the center. I would have take more screen grabs, but it started getting dark, and I didn't want to wait for daylight again.

PS: Just to be clear, this wall isn't meant to keep people out of my area. I just think it'll look cool when it's done, and it'll let people know that I have plans for everything inside. Once you have a home, you need elbow room to expand, and I do have a lot of plans for things within my walls. It would suck to have someone start building there before I got to it. (you can only work on so many things at once) Even with the wall people are obviously welcome to visit my area. I've put one door up near Cal's, and plan on putting others up as well so people don't have to go around my wall.

Killing Wolves & Inventory
Recently I've been getting requests to make Minecraft videos on my channel. My response hasn't been no, but instead I've said probably not. I've never made gaming videos before, and I don't have a great desire to start. But I will leave the door open, cause you never know... Since I'm not making Minecraft videos at the moment, I thought I'd answer one of the more popular questions I've been asked. "Have you found/made _______?" Seems a few people want to know what's in my item boxes. I took some screen captures the other day, so hopefully that will answer all those types of questions. (I have gained more wool, wood, and made some changes to the house & yard since these images were taken.)
These first images are boxes I keep in the small house above ground. These are things I often need quick access to, and emergency supplies.

Now on to Store Room A:

Now we'll move on to Store Room B. (Not shown: 1 more full box of dirt, 7 more boxes full of cobblestone, 2 more boxes full of gravel & 1 more full box of sand.)

This last image is the box I keep down in my farm.

Too Many Wolves
We recently had issues with mobs not spawning like they're supposed to. Zack mentions in the video that the animals have spawned, but not the monsters. That's not totally correct, even though you see animals in the video. There were times when I went hours without seeing any animals. Anyways...while I was logged off, a few of the guys were going to sneak over & kill my wolves to see if that solved the problem. It wasn't the problem & I they didn't really kill any of my wolves. I did end up killing 6 of my own wolves after they left, just to test their theory. The problem wasn't really solved completely until the new update, but I don't know if Zack made any changes around that time...so really I don't know what the heck the problem was.
It's a real shame nobody could figure out what characters were in my yard. If you were fans of the Atari 2600 growing up, you should know that those characters are from the game Berzerk! Those wool statues were just me testing out ideas, and will not stay there. My house has been remodeled, and my yard looks a little different since this video was made...especially my backyard. (will show in future posts)

As I have with the last couple posts, I thought it would be a good idea to end with a song.
